・映画｢サタデーナイトフィーバー｣が大ヒット。映画自体も流行りましたが,そのサントラ盤がとにかく売れました。おそらくはこの当時までのベストセラーアルバム。�A�C�Dはその映画の挿入歌,実は前年の暮れにも同映画のビージーズによる挿入歌(How deep is your love?)が１位に輝いていますのでなんと同一映画サントラ盤から４曲のトップ１ヒットを出した事になります。おそらくこれは今もって破られない記録でしょう。
・しかもその内３曲はビージーズによるもので,一時はそれらが全てベストテン内にランキングされていました。こちらはビートルズと並ぶ記録です。そして当分の間このギブ３兄弟の快進撃が続くことになります。
